Does it come with a small cylinder vacuum ? --- It does not come with a small vacuum because of the low price. most users buy a small budget cylinder to use on the stairs.  The oreck will clean right up to the edges

 How  heavy is the vacuum --does it have tools ?      It weighs only 8.5lb. it does not have tools  most users  have a small low cost  suction cleaner for stairs .The Oreck is brilliant for carpets and hard floors very good for pet hairs

Is this a current model, where is it made --is it on 240v ?      ----This model is a XL2005HH   and is a current model made in the USA to a high standard for the UK market on  240v

  Where can we buy paper bags belts or spare parts ? --   We supply from our website

  Does this model have the new “top fill” system ?  Yes the paper bag fills via a tube at the top       this makes sure the dirt is retained in the paper bag

How difficult is the Oreck to repair --could we do it ourselves or would I need a specialist ?        -----  The Oreck  vacuum is simple to work on if you are a bit handy, We can give free advise & supply parts

   we  have always used a cylinder vacuum ,How will I find the  oreck upright ?      A cylinder has to be “got out and assembled” and can be heavy work to drag the machine around if you have weak arms  --wrists-or back --   The Oreck  stands in a small space ready for use --  it”s  long 30ft. cable  enables a whole room to be cleaned without unplugging and is so easy  to push with the special designed handle and light weight

  Does this model clean up to the skirting board ? Yes the Orecks side brushes makes sure the dust  is drawn to the suction area

  What is the difference between the XL domestic Oreck and the commercial  Oreck ? The commercial does not come with a small  cylinder vac. The size and weight  & bags  are the same, some domestics have a light on the front The commercial have improved their motor and brushroll  as for H/duty use .The commercial is designed for simplicity and reliability         

  What do I do if  my  Oreck  vacuum  goes wrong in the first 12 months ? Oreck  have a good after sales service all we need is your details and phone number .

  What about spare parts when it is out of the guarantee period ?  we supply all spares from our website with free advice if required

   Do Orecks  have tools ?  ---  No the Oreck is designed for direct suction to the roller                                                                      

 Why does  the Oreck  only have a 350 watt motor when some  vacuums have  a  1000 watt  + ?          The Oreck  uses a different design  The motor uses a fan impeller type motor that is a very strong design positioned close to the brush roller so the suction is in direct contact with the dirt so only requires 350 watts , it does not overheat   has a long life and picks up the dirt better.  It is the design of a vacuum c.leaner that counts not the size of the motor .  How noisy is this model ? not as noisy as some uprights as the motor is designed for power not speed and is rated at 91 - 99Db. --------------------------------
